Thermotex PPE acoustic barrier mat reduces levels of noise from specified machinery by up to 30dB (Decibel). Our mats prevent sound and vibration generated during production which causes damage to hearing. Thus, we are able to manufacture a wall against sound to compliment measures of personnel protection, creating a safer working environment within the vicinity.
To achieve the wall against sound and vibration, Thermotex acoustic barrier mats are constructed using a particular layering system. A needlemat interface consists of soft insulation which comes in direct contact with the instrument pump that cushions movement to significantly reduce vibration and, therefore, sound energy. Dense foam absorbs sound and supports noise deadening which creates a steep gradient, slowing down the process of high to low concentration. Our extra heavy duty silicone glass cloth and anti-static PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) glass cloth stops static, or electrical, energy caused by vibration. We, at Thermotex, can manufacture acoustic barrier mats in multiple configurations which include personalised Velcro closures and eyelets to suit a specific arrangement.

high-density synthetic soundproofing membrane. Available in 5kg/sq.m or 10kg/sq.m
weights, with plain or self-adhesive backing. Also available with a foil face on request.
