Thermotex PFP (Passive Fire Protection) solutions are designed to minimize direct lines of fire to the vessel or equipment. Our multiple and dense layers, of cloth and insulation material, are designed to create a tight, close fitting compound.
These layers are divided into sacrificial and functional substratum and remain compact when secured with stainless steel banding. Sacrificial layers shed in the instance of fire whilst functional layers are designed to remain in place and provide protection for the vessel or equipment against A (Cellulosic), H (Hydrocarbon) or J-rated (Jet) classifications of fire. Our PFP solutions are guaranteed to provide from 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes of fire protection to support health and safety upkeep in the event of a fire.
Our equipment applications include: Manways, Emergency Shutdown Valve systems (ESDV) and critical electrical cable networks where we intend to keep mechanisms structurally intact, allowing services to be maintained, accessed and repaired with minimal damage to critical areas.
At Thermotex, we take huge pride in both the quality of products we give and in the quality of service we give. From hand picking the best grades of material and the most suitable components to use, to ensuring the quality of our workmanship and to taking time and care into our designs and calculations - no detail is too small and no project is too large.
We are happy to discuss your requirements with you, please feel free to call us about your project.
