YAMAL LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is a project which integrates the production of natural gas, liquefaction and shipping. YAMAL is a joint-venture working with NOVATEK, TOTAL and CNPC operating in Russia above the arctic circle. The LNG plant will be built in three stages which are prepared to start from 2017, 2018 and 2019 in which the project will produce 16.5 MTPA of liquefied natural gas and up to 1.2 MTPA of gas concentrate. Production will be shipped to Asia-Pacific and European markets.
When the plant becomes operable, its crucial instrumentation will send hydrocarbon mixtures through gas gathering networks to the treatment and liquefaction facility. The initial separation includes the removal of mechanical impurities. Separated gas will go through several process stages within the liquefaction trains. Thermotex contribute towards the 5,000 soft insulation instrument jackets as part of our bespoke design service. The entire brief is to prevent frost, ice and snow build-up on valves and vital, expensive equipment to ensure continual functioning.
At Thermotex, we take huge pride in both the quality of the products we provide and in the quality of service we give. From hand picking the best grades of material and the most suitable components to use, to ensuring the quality of our workmanship and to taking time and care into our designs and calculations - no detail is too small and no project is too large. We are happy to discuss your requirements with you, please feel free to call us about your project.
