Thermotex stainless steel enclosures provide exceptional protection for instrumentation, ensuring the accurate and dependable functioning of instruments.
Exposed instruments can suffer accelerated ageing which can prove costly in terms of excess maintanance and repair, and even early replacement costs. The use of stainless steel instrument enclosures provides the highest level of mechanical protection to protect against damage and prolong the life of the instrument.
Available in an range of sizes and configurations, designed to accommodate single or multiple instrument arrangements, our stainless steel enclosures are IP66 rated, UV resistant and flame retardant. Designed as a two-part construction, split vertically, we can offer the enclosures with options such as insulation liners and safety windows. Stainless steel enclosure systems ensure optimal mechanical equipment protection, allowing reliable and consistent data feedback from field instrumentation, given even the most hostile ambient conditions.
Alongside a super strong structure, these enclosures are chemically resistant against organic and inorganic solutions, and are available in plain or epoxy painted finishes. We provide the highest level of mechanical and ambient protection for electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic meters, transmitters and gauges, suitable both onshore and offshore. The use of stainless steel enclosures allows maintenance and service costs to be minimised.
Offered alongside are a full range of accessories, including 2/3/5 way enclosure mounted manifolds, ATEX stainless steel enclosure heaters, thermostats, and pipe stands, with the option for our enclosures to be supplied as fully assembled and populated with appropriate instrumentation for a complete field fit solution.
Stainless steel enclosures offer the highest level of mechanical protection for process instrumention. In addition to their superior strength, 316L stainless steel enclosures have good chemical resistance and are universally accepted as the premium option for instrument protection.
It is often the case that due to the highly specific nature of instruments, they have a relatively narrow operating temperature range. By introducing mounted self-regulating stainless steel panel heaters inside the enclosures, we can offer an engineered solution to allow instruments to operate in very cold climate conditions, such as winter temperatures of below -40°C in Canada and Russia, where they otherwise could not operate.
Furthermore, our stainless steel enclosures are ATEX and IECEx approved, conforming to globally renowned specifications.
At Thermotex, we take huge pride both in the quality of the products we provide and in the quality of the service we give. From hand picking the best grades of materials and the most suitable components to use, to ensuring the quality of our workmanship and to taking time and care our designs and calculations - no detail is too small and no project is too large.
